About Wool Overs

Started in 1989 from small beginnings, Wool Overs are now a world class retailer for men's and ladies classic and contemporary knitwear. We select our Lambswool and Merino yarns from the best quality wool producers on the Australasian continent. We now have websites for Canada, USA, Australia, New Zealand and the UK, to ensure we can spread our love of knitwear the world over!

We developed our business through meeting many of our customers at the various UK Equestrian and Country Shows. Our range of knitwear has now grown since those early days to almost 130 styles in over 60 shades, and is still very much the creation of our customer feedback. I am of the firm belief that successful ‘niche’ marketers need to develop specialist knowledge to enable them to go that extra mile, and we’ve been completely wrapped up in natural fibre knitwear for over 20 years now.

So, for lovers of Wool, Cotton & Cashmere knitwear, we think we’ve managed to create a rather special range that offers you amazing value, without compromising on quality. More importantly, we hope you feel the same! In association with the British Wool Board and Woolmark, we ensure that our woollen yarns are of the highest quality, and unlike most high street knitwear today, all of our styles are fully machine washable.

Today there is a greater need to use natural, renewable products. Wool fulfils this need, whilst also providing warm, stylish, and durable garments. We sincerely hope you find what you are looking for on this website, and that we provide you with the quality of product and service you expect.
