Size exchanges are a bore and a chore and can be avoided if you follow our unique sizing check (see diagrams opposite):
Select a similar style of knitwear that you currently wear and measure between two points: -
1. Across the chest, from underarm to underarm.
2. Down the centre back of the garment, excluding the collar, i.e. under the collar to the edge of the welt.
Then compare the measurements of your garment, in inches, to the ones shown on each product page throughout the website.
Do not confuse the measurements we show on each page with a persons body measurement; the measurements listed are the actual fabric dimensions of our knitwear.
A unisex style jumper, in size medium, will measure 44" all round, but this does not fit a 44" chest, it will fit around a 38-40" chest.
All knitwear will 'relax' slightly when worn, so allow for the fact a new 22" wide garment will probably relax to become 22.5 - 23'. So if your knitwear in a classic cut is, for example, 23' wide, opt for the 22' medium in our classic range and not the large size.
Ladies, if you wear a medium in our female styles you will probably require a size small in our unisex designs.
Please do take the time to measure your own knitwear before you order, it makes mail order shopping so much sweeter!
Below is a basic guide to give you an idea of which size you'll want, but be sure to check the individual garment measurements on the product pages by clicking on the sizing tab.
